An external investor is defined as any individual or legal entity, whether national or foreign, that makes an external investment duly authorized in accordance with the External Investor Law. This status is available to all investors, including immigrants who wish to invest in Cabo Verde, provided they meet the necessary requirements. A potential investor can apply for external investor status after formally creating their company or can apply for both registrations simultaneously (company creation and external investment).
